Exotic Animal Rescue...

Bugfest has already been involved in rescuing un-wanted invertebrate pets. If you have a bug pet you are no longer able to care for, or surplus livestock you can’t get rid of, please get in touch with us. We can’t pay you for your animals, but we can guarantee that they will either go to a good home, or live out the rest of their lives with us in comfort and style.

We can’t offer this to every type of invertebrate, for instance certain species of stick insect are highly prolific and will be turned down.

We currently have room for small to medium sized snakes such as corn snakes, garters and royal pythons, if you are not able to continue to look after your snake get in touch and we can help you. We can’t buy your animal because of the associated fees incurred with looking after them.

We will not be selling rescue reptiles, but in the future if we have any excess and need the room, we will be operating a re-homing program. You will be asked for a non-refundable adoption fee and the reptile will be expected to remain with you for life, we will also reserve the right to inspect your home prior to adoption to ensure the animals are going to the right place. If we are not happy that the animals are going to be safe you will lose your fee to cover the inspection costs incurred and will not receive the animal/s.
